The construction of a goose farming shed primarily requires consideration of the following aspects: First, choose a flat, elevated, and dry location. Use steel pipes to build the main frame, cover the roof with four layers, ensure the ground outside the shed is lower than inside, dig a ditch in the middle of the shed, install automatic waterers, and then open one or two skylights on the southern side of the roof to maintain ventilation inside the shed. As waterfowl, geese naturally enjoy water and spend about one-third of their day in it. They are accustomed to playing, foraging, and mating in water. When raising geese, it is essential to have a clean water source nearby, preferably flowing water.

Geese are herbivorous poultry, and their feed mainly consists of plant-based materials. They have strong foraging abilities and can consume large amounts of plant-based feed, with a daily intake of about 2 kilograms of green grass.
